This Privacy Policy explains how Two Dogs AI (“Two Dogs AI,” “we,” “us” or “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you visit twodogs.ai or use the Two Dogs AI research assistant (together, the “Services”).

When we provide the research assistant to an organization, we process the documents, questions and answers of that organization on its behalf and under its instructions; the organization decides who may use the Services and what content is submitted. If your organization runs the assistant in its own cloud account, its documents, questions and answers stay in that account, and only a question and the passages retrieved for it pass through our service, which does not retain them.

1. Information we collect

• Account information. Your name, email address and the organization and role you belong to, provided by you or your organization when your account is created.
• Content. Documents your organization adds to its library, and the questions, answers, ratings and comments created in the Services.
• Usage and technical information. Sign-in events, the date and time of requests, and technical details such as IP address and browser type, which our servers and hosting providers record to operate and secure the Services.
• Communications. What you send us when you email us or join our waitlist.

This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising trackers. The research assistant uses only what it needs to keep you signed in.

2. How we use information

• to provide, operate and maintain the Services, including answering your questions from your organization’s library;
• to secure the Services, prevent abuse and troubleshoot problems;
• to communicate with you about the Services and respond to your requests; and
• to comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your Content to train AI models.

3. How we share information

We share information only as follows:

• Service providers who process it on our behalf, including cloud hosting (Amazon Web Services), email (Google Workspace) and AI model providers that generate answers from the passages retrieved for a question. They may use it only to provide their services to us.
• Your organization, whose administrators can see its users and the content created in its workspace.
• Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect the rights, safety or security of our users, the public or Two Dogs AI.
• Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

4. Data retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Services to your organization and for legitimate business and legal purposes. When your organization’s agreement ends, or when it asks us to, we delete or return its Content within a reasonable period, except where the law requires us to keep it.

5. Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information, including encryption in transit and at rest, separation of each organization’s data at the database level, and access limited by role. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee the security of information.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. 7. International transfers

We are based in the United States and process information there. Where information is transferred from other countries, we take steps to protect it as required by applicable law.

8. Children

The Services are intended for organizations and their staff and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy here and change the date above, and for material changes we will give reasonable notice.
